An addition was designed to seamlessly extend the existing upper floor, creating a more functional outdoor space for this
single family house. The design for the new covered terrace pulls the living space on the upper level to the outside, creating room
for multiple activities and entertaining large groups. The new structural system opens up the covered space below and becomes a
more usable carport and utility area.
